I'd just guessed that you'd need a crib and a blanket or something. So many little things add up...
We could have come out a bit cheaper by getting things used and not buying some of the non-essentials. However, we received a lot of items that aren't on this list in baby showers, so it could have cost more.
I also did not include time in the image above because I didn't track it very well, but several items took greater than 30 minutes to assemble, with the longest being the dresser which took roughly two hours.
Hopefully he can sleep...
This price seems to be ideal for me and all those who are expecting the visit to hospital. There are many hospitals that are having these types of things that are meant to be useful.
